Writing:

Hello, my name is Blanca. Today I'm going to talk about my holidays. First I talk about England. Second I talk about India. Finally I talk about Pals.

England:

I went 3 weeks in England with Mireia, Elena, Marta and Nuria. We were in the south of England, in Poole. Two days of the three weeks we went to London. It was very funny!

India:

I went for 10 in India with my family. I went in New Delhi, Alsisar, Jaipur, Accra and Varanasi. In Accra I visited the Taj Mahal. It's amazing! and in Varanasi I visited the river Ganges. It was pretty but it's very dirty!

Pals:

I went to Pals because every year I go. In Pals I stayed for 2 weeks and I relaxed on the beach, in the swimming pool and eating "paellas".

THE ROYAL WEDDING:

Today Mireia and I are talking about the Prince William and Kate Middleton. First I'm talking about de Prince William, second Mireia talking about Kate Middleton and finaly Mireia and I are talking about de royal wedding.
Prince William born in 21th June of 1982. His fathers are, prince Charles and his mother prince Diana. Diana died in 1997, because she died in a car accident. His brother is Harry and his grandmother is the Queen of England, Elizabeth the second.
Kate Middleton born in 9th January of 1982. Is from a rich family of England, but they ar not royalty. Her mum was an air hostess. She has a one sister, her name is Pippa and one brother, James.
Prince William and Kate Middleton met in 2001. Now ten years later William asked Kate to marry him in November 2010 when they were in holiday in Africa. In 29 of April, prince William and Kate Middleton married.

PRINCE WILLIAM AND KATE MIDDLETON

1. Prince William

The British have always loved Prince William. His mother, Princess Diana, was adored by the public. She died in 1997. Many people think that William should be the next king of the United Kingdom, not his father, Prince Charles. William went to the best schools in Britain and then started to do humanitarian and charity work. He lived and worked for a year in Chile, Belize and Africa.

Prince William met Kate Middleton at St Andrew's University in Scotland. In their first year, William  was unhappy at university and wanted to leave. Kate convinced him to stay, and to change courses, from History of Art to Geography. Everyone is happy and agrees that Kate is perfect for the prince!

2. Kate Middleton

Royals normally marry nobility. But Kate Middleton is an exception. Kate is from a rich family, but they are not royalty. Some of her ancestors were poor miners and her mother was an air hostess. The British think it is incredible that a commoner will marry the future king of the UK. Kate's parents started selling party accessories on the internet. At first, they used their children as models for their catalogs. They soon became millionaires and were able to pay for Kate to go to the best British schools. Kate has a reputation for being a quiet serious girl. But some of her friends say she dreamed of being Princess Catherine before she met William! This might be why she chose to study at St Andrews University where she could meet Prince William.

3. The Royal wedding

William asked Kate to marry him in November 2010 when they were on holiday in Africa. He gave Kate a sapphire engagement ring which belonged to his mother Diana, Princess of Wales. "The ring is special to me" says William. The British public love Kate and want a fairytale princess. It's a lot of pressure and responsibility for her. William's grandmother the Queen, is "delighted" about the wedding.
